In this recital in Stadthagen, Germany on 11.1.2014, I performed Frederic Rzewski's Rubinstein in Berlin, a work for speaking pianist, where one must recite an exerpt from Arthur Rubinstein's autobiography My Young Years.. It was a challenging period in Rubinstein's life; after literally hitting rock bottom he suddenly had an enlightening experience.... Photos by Alvaro Claver
